Email Campaigns – What’s the point?


Many people see email marketing as an old and perhaps outdated method, but the fact is they’re wrong. It may not be as new as social media marketing, but the demand is still there and it’s bigger than it ever was before.

People use email marketing for the same reasons as they did before; to engage with their audience, attract new visitors and build relationships. Social media marketing and content marketing can all link in with email marketing campaigns. Mobile phones and a host of other devices have made accessing emails easy, and they can respond to them then and there, even if they’re on the bus in the middle of town.

Emails are no longer picked up when you log in to your computer for an evening, because they’re ‘on the go’ form of marketing, and emails should never be ignored. Not every customer is on social media, and not every customer bothers with emails, but the more marketing methods the better, because regular communication will maintain their interest.
