Constructive website marketing and website development information

Are you changing your website whilst it is still in construction?

It can be an exciting time when you finally take the plunge to have your website created. You may have all these different ideas but be constrained by your budget. If this is the case it is important to focus on what the main purpose of the site is and what is needed. Sometimes it is a good idea to create phases of work. First phase is to get all the functionality on the site that is needed to go live. I’m then you can create a phase two and three which can include further development which can be started on straight away. By doing this, you prevent hold ups and additional costs. If you keep changing functionality or layouts in the first phase the site will not go live. These delays could mean you are missing out on business, especially if you do not currently have a website. You can also find that by the time your site is complete after all the changes, it has been so long in development that it already feels out of date or is missing functionality that your competitors sites offer. Try and always bear in mind the main objective of the site and if you are losing your way keep coming back to that.
