A Brand Conscious Website


Branding plays a massive role in all areas of marketing and promotion, whether that be internet marketing, print marketing, or TV marketing. Keeping the brand consistency throughout everything that offers exposure to your business is the ultimate aim, as it will cause greater impact, but this isn’t always achievable.

Achieving a brand conscious website, does, of course, mean that you need to try to match up the branding of the website with other marketing materials, but this isn’t always as easy as it may seem. or instance, getting the colours identical is virtually impossible, due to the vastly different ways they are lit up; with websites back-lit, and print lit by the surrounding light. Also, designing a website so that it matches the style of brochure that has already been designed is not advised, as that can end up destroying the user experience, and the ability of visitors and robots to surf the website will be diminished.

Website marketing is playing a larger and larger role in the world of marketing, and it may have actually achieved supremacy over other types of marketing for most sectors of business. If you’re designing a brand for your business, ideally it would start with the production of the website, so that other areas can try to remain consistent to the requirements of that platform, rather than other, less effective methods.
